Our Workshops

A
ll workshops are designed to meet specific client needs and resources. A typical one-day Storytelling workshop, however, would likely consist of:
Stage #1:
Definition and exploration of storytelling as the world's oldest and most effective medium for passing on information. Examples are offered by both trainers and participants. Elements discussed with participants are the universal shape and rhythm of stories and ways of making stories resonate with the listener.

Stage #2 :
Participants break into groups to analyze the information presented and find ways to adapt it to both local culture and broadcast needs.

Stage #3:
Groups prepare and present written news and current affairs stories according to agreed-upon guidelines.

Stage #4:
Stories are analyzed and critiqued by participants and trainers.
