I know that what you have written (above) is correct, he is definitely a relative. Could he have been a convict?
Ambrose Tibbitts, Date Tried: Staffordshire Assizes, Lent 1828, Convicted at Stafford Assizes for a term of life.
Transported: Layton 1829, Date of Departure: 17 June 1829. Place of Arrival: New South Wales.
