NPCs for play and adoption
Jorella and green Lindith --- Jorella's left leg is gone from the knee down. She was in a lower wing, but was moved to a middle wing with M'riel, and, surprised at how *well* she did there, B'rin kept her in the middle wing
R'naur and brown Milareth - R'naur has 62 turns, and is getting pretty feeble. He and Milareth have plenty of scars from all sorts of adventures, but they're stout people and simply refuse to give up. He almost always has good suggestions, earning him wingthird in a lower wing, but he's also a very loud complainer.
Alaia and green Twilenth - Alaia is a middle wing rider as well. She's very cliquish and has a specific group she hangs with. She's not usually disrespectful, but she *hates* leadership of all sorts.
B'malc and blue Fordenth - B'malc could be considered the strong, silent type. He isn't very tall, not particularly handsome, but he's always there to lend a helping hand. He's a good rider, and if it wasn't for the plain fact the Fordenth has very, very little stamina, he'd have likely ended up as a wingthird. His secret though? He's behind many of the uprootings against B'rin. Strong, silent and helpful gets him in places where he can spy, and spy he does. Amazingly enough, the information that leaks has never been traced back to him. Part of the Upper/Middle wing.
Timna and blue Sorblesth - A middle wing rider, Sorblesth is an unsually large and strong blue. Timna is very masculine, and only hangs with the boys. She despises girls of all sorts and is always more than rude to them, including her betters. Some incident involving a gold weyrling nearly going between because of her antics had her transferred to Lirac. She's a rather open hater of Lirac's structure. Simply because she was cursed to be female and ride a blue, she's looked down upon because of that stupid traditional Weyrleader and all his stupid traditional friends. She's been connected with some minor offenses to the leaders, though nothing *too* bad.
E'lal and brown Trumpeth - An upper/middle wing rider, and a rather good one. She's also a beautifully charismatic man..eh, woman. People generally like E'lal. But, you know, really, underneath it all, the lady-man is just plain evil. This is the brain behind much of all "pranks" given to harm Lirac Weyr. She hates it here, and hates the fact that simply because she's considered a freak other Weyrs don't particularly want her around, corrupting the youth. Just because she could be easily mistaken for a male and likes to hang with the weyrbrats doesn't mean she's *corrupting* them. Really! E'lal has been suspected of some minor offenses against the Weyr, but no one realizes that she's the one that has so much say and keeps people so unhappy. Seriously. She's too *nice* for that. Just a little bitter sometimes.
N'gel and blue Monnuth - It is a wonder this man is still alive. He's not really a good thread-fighter. As a matter of fact, he's been pulled from fighting particularly bad threadfalls in anticipation that he might hurt someone. And, well, he hates everyone. Anyone with *that* attitude doesn't usually last at Lirac. He's always complaining, always hollering, always saying how bad things are. He hates people. What no one other than Ierel knows is that N'gel is a very prized rider of B'rin's. Perhaps it's the fact that Monnuth is a dragon from the last of Renarth's clutches, and thus Telenth's son, or perhaps it's something else. Who knows? It's probably better that everyone thinks B'rin keeps tags on him because he's such a *mean* person.
W'klin and blue Pogmith - W'klin had a very bad case of impression anxiety. And he never got over it. He thinks he is Pogmith. Which, surprisingly enough, works pretty well. W'klin's entire life is centered around Pogmith, who is possibly the most cared for dragon in all of Pern. It's just sort of impossible to have a conversation with the man, and disturbing to see him running around naked all the time and oiling Pogmith's itchy spots, and then oiling himself in those same areas. And the chasing after runners and biting them when he gets close enough? Yeah, someone has to help the man at times to take care of *himself.* But he's a good thread-fighter, really. He just has no identity. Lower wing rider.
Essandra and green Qwenth - Ah. Now here is a greenrider, through and through. Does Qwenth rise *every* month? Certainly not. No. But it does seem that way. Essandra herself is an active flight moth. Man. Woman. She doesn't care, and she's always, always flirting. As a matter of fact, she always seems to be focusing on someone else, and it's gotten her into plenty of trouble. Even thread takes second place to flirting at times. Essandra has three children to prove it, each a result of Qwenth not being able to go between because of nasty thread wounds. Lower wing rider.
J'kson and blue Eliath - You want an easy-going rider? Someone to go to without hearing about how bad the world is? Here, take a look at J'kson. Oh, and please, while you're at it, check his pulse! J'kson is laid-back, easy-going, and a good listener. Mostly because he's so lazy, really. This is the man and the dragon who takes all the possible time off they can. The world is too complicated to try to understand! Sit back and relax. Lower-wing rider.
Jekara and green Nonelth - Jekara can be counted as one who does not like the B'rin. This time it's personal. She was almost his weyrmate, while at Lirac, and had been in a relationship with him for a little over a turn. Then things began to happen. They really weren't B'rin's fault, but they were very cleverly construed to be. After awhile, Jekara went to those who disliked the Weyrleader. She was so close to him, after all, and the man had just proved himself to really be the one that was making the Weyr so terrible. Things got uglier and uglier, Tnel became convinced that she'd only shown interest in him to get to him in the first place, and he finally pulled all ties from her, not without being seriously hurt emotionally and physically and without giving people who hated him lots of pointers at having to get under his skin. But that was three turns ago since that ended and B'rin has effectively been closing himself from everything since then so it doesn't matter anymore, right? Middle wing rider.
