The Place They Live In
Lirac Weyr only has a very few ground caves. The rest of it is wooden and adobe-type of created structure. It's not... exactly finished. When Lirac Weyr was created, it was done so at the beginning of the Pass. There was a lot of hard work put into it at first, but after awhile the laborers from Lirac Hold and the surrounding cotholds and camps needed to go back to their families and businesses. Sure, they stuck around, but once the riders started to get more rowdy, the Weyrwoman whinier, they all began to leave, bit by bit. The Weyr was a small one, and the Gold wasn't clutching, there wouldn't be need for more work anyway, nothing that the dragonriders couldn't do.
The Caves
Or, rather, the big-cliff/cheese-holes in the mountain.
These natural caves are not really the coziest of things, but they make do. There's one large cavern, big enough for a good-sized clutch, but a bit too small for too many spectators at a hatching. To the left is a large weyr for the Weyrwoman, though one must pass through the front end of it to get to her and the Weyrleader's office as well as the record's room. On the right is another large weyr, that is currently occupied by the retired Weyrwoman.
There are also small rooms to the right of Irela's weyr, mostly used for storage. On the very furthest right there is a small room where the Headman sleeps.
The Adobe Buildings
Many of these are built right near the caves, one large one was once used for the weyrling groups, though it's only big enough as Renarth's clutches had allowed... Enough room for eight weyrlings, and one weyrlingmaster. But they've been converted, and for the past five turns or so have been used to house many of the drudges and some of the other workers and crafters at the Weyr. The weyrlingmaster's office has been housing Ralinya and her Green Mewlinth, as she has an overwhelming terror of living in the large common areas with the other dragons.
The other adobe buildings near the caves, are what everyone calls by habit "the lower caverns." All the normal lower caverns things are here... Kitchens, creches, crafter areas, all that good stuff.
Other of the adobe are on the outer edges of the Weyr, combined a bit with the wood. These are the weyrs, and they're mostly community weyrs, because that was easiest. Anywhere from two to four single weyrs are together, depending on whether or not a pair is weyrmated or gets along enough to share a weyr. Br'len has assigned a few places for riders, but generally they have things the way they would like. Every two weyr-structures shares a common bathroom.
The Wooden Buildings
The weyrs closer to the inner sections of the weyr are, one side, close the infirmaries and healer's offices, which are mostly woodened structures, and, on the other side, the mindhealer's offices. The kitchens are wooden structures built closer to the lower caverns area.
Every other building is a full wooden, or a wooden-adobe combination, including not-so-well built ones, built by dragonriders who wanted ledges for their dragons. Many of these surround the inner areas of Lirac Weyr, a bit in front of the dragon's weyrs.
Recreation
In the middle of the Weyr is a sort of recreational area for humans with a smaller lake, some shaded areas, and some game areas. Sure, dragons can go down, but it's a bit of a tight fit.
The dragons' playground is on the outer edges of the Weyr, where there is a very large, natural, very clear spring-type of lake, whose river also flows through Lirac Hold. There is warm dirt to lay on, grass to lay on, and trees to play with. There are even little caves under the lake, if a dragon wants to risk his life with them.
What's Missing?
Well, aahhh, there really isn't room for the drudges and workers if we move them out of the weyrling barracks, but if we don't move them out, there will be no place for the weyrlings. Dragons SHOULDN'T be sharing weyrs like that. It's crowded, they need to expand. There ISN'T really a place for the crafters, sure, there's a commons areas for some of the higher ranked crafters, and the healers have their designated spots, but some of the others are on their own.
Oh, and the candidates? It's a good thing, really, that there aren't many. At the moment they're all housed in one of those three-structured weyrs. The candidatemaster has the double weyr, for two dragons, though it doubles as both his office and the classroom for the students. One single weyr houses the male candidates, and the other the female candidates. But the still all have to share a common bathroom, with their candidate master and four other dragonriders.
