Bungle Gully Farm is a beautiful homestead which provided a thoroughly enjoyable home stay for our family several years ago. We flew right into the property, landing by the homestead. The property is part of a wheat farm near Come By Chance in north-western NSW, operating a friendly farm stay.

Our kids loved the opportunity to see a working farm - with lots of farm and domestic animals to entertain them, and we were bowled over by the unobtrusive hospitality shown to us. We felt like part of the family, while we were treated like royal guests.

Just before we were there in 1996, the Buchanans had hosted a fashion photo shoot, featuring Bridget Adams (then on 'the Great Outdoors'). This was presented in 'Australian Country Style' magazine, and this displayed the property at its finest.

One thing it didn't illustrate was the warmth of the fine family who hosted us. It was hard to leave... to continue our journey north to Longreach.
