Today I woke late for work, went to work, came back, showered, then just relaxed. I recently DLed a copy of the newly released XMEN 2, so me and my roomie and a couple of friends chilled in my room with some drinks. We watched the movie on a VCD and it was great. I mean the movie was great, but the company was so much better. I don't think that I have met a girl like Christy since coming to ithaca. In the past week maybe, we have spent every night together. She and I have connected with cartoons, music, and intelligent conversation. Watching the movie with her tonight, we would laugh at the same little things to ourselves, and were just completely oblivious to the stupid little comments others had to make about the movie. Ahhhh, i am in like.
Tomorrow I am sure I am going to watch some ZIM with her, then thurs I am going to go to the commons with her...sigh. I know its the last week of school, and she is taken, but I appreciate all she has to offer. Its good to know i will always have a close friend in her. Talking to my friend, Nicole, i see things she says are right though, cant think too much. thinking is not doing.
I just got in from a walk around campus with Brian. We visited his girl in the emerson building, and walked through any bulding we could. its really a beautiful campus. Now i am just putting off bed. Too boring. Wish i could watch cartoons with someone...

With but four days of my freshman year of college left, I figure i will update a couple more times. Yea I know its been like 10 days, but I am a busy guy. I had my film screening, got my final classes out of the way, have my final papers ready to hand in, almost, and one exam to study for. Then its packing up my car and going.... home. It will be sad, but there is plenty of time for that. Right now its party time.
Friday there was a huge annual block party for the end of the year, called SLOPE DAY. Its held in this group of houses on a real steep hill. Everyone is there, and everyone is drunk, i wish i had pics. And it was cool, the cops were only being shitty to those being roudy or naked or unable to support their own body weight. Then last night I attended the final theatre party, SHERRY PARTY. Its basically a performance that the freshman theatre majors put on to make fun of the graduating seniors. We pre partied at some guys apartment, then partied in the theatre on campus, then after partied at the local Ramada Inn, then we opted to not attend the after after party at this place called The End. But it was a great time, regardless of the gay men that kept hitting on me. To end last night I watched DONNIE DARKO with a female friend of mine. Real great girl - cute, witty, and intelligent - thank god. I think, though, thats what attracted her boyfriend to her. **hmmph**
Right now I am waiting for my hair dye to set in. I was going to touch up the blue, but I opted out and went for a more monsterous change. Today I am gonna bum around. Papers will be done tomorrow, not today. Thats it. Packing Wednesday, and leaving. well.... PEACE

PLANKEYE's GOODBYE from 42K: Media
The weekend was great in RPI. Definately a good preview of the summer to come. All I need is a job that can fund the fun. The drive was a bit rough. I got very 'highway hypnotized' and made like three stops, but it was a great drive. We got Josh Kraft back to Poppa Kraft right on time. Then I chilled to Dashboard for the hour back down the lake. Once at Ithaca, I worked ALLL night on my film.
Monday was the most fantastic day ever. One, I skip Cinema Prod. with Brian to chill in the nice weather. Then we watched EMPIRE OF THE SUN in Music and the Media. THEN we got ready for MATT NATHANSON. He was playing a free show in "the pub" on campus. Anyway, Bri got the great idea to tape it and make a DIVX like the ones I have downloaded from his previous shows at colleges. We get there a bit early, but there were a lot of people already. One kid was also taping it. Chip's his name. He had a better audio set up than me so I am gonna see if he can get me a rip of that.
After the GREAT set of Matt and BLU SANDERS, we waited with everyone else to meet and greet Matt Nathanson and his celloist Matt Fish. Remember back last semester me talking about the movie 42K? Well Nathanson's song ANSWERING MACHINE was featured, and that got me on a Nathanson hook. I downloaded a shiteload of his stuff. ANYWAY, we brought our copies of 42K for him to sign. Talking to the celloist, we found out that the director was a real good friend of theirs back in California. Then meeting Matt, he was extatic to see the movie in his hands. He gratefully signed our copies and posed for a pic with us. I am totally getting back to him through his website to see if I can get any info about DUANE DOANE's next film ventures. Brian and I really cleaned up that night...
Since then I finished my final film, my second last paper and Christened another Tuesday, oh god... Today a friend from Akron is coming to Ithaca to see if this is the school for her. I will be a large portion of that decision making process. lol. Whatever, I will show her the wonderful things here that made me want to become a BOMBER. Whatever I'll be back later, its lunch time. I am chilling in Aaron Janicz's dorm in the engineering marvel RPI. Me and Kraft decided to spend the weekend in Troy with him. Its like an Easter/Passover excursion. So far we got lost in downtown Troy, met and partied with Aarons Roomie Tats, got a full tour of RPI and snuck into the dining hall for grub. Right now we are playing Nintendo for old time's sake. I think we will just chill and watch movies tonight, nothin like last night ;)
Tomorrow we need to rise a bit early to meet Kraft's dad by exit 41 of the I 90. The three hour drive won't be bad with the windows open and the music blaring. It seems like Aaron is happy here. Its good to see that he has time to spend a weekend with his bros. Weird though to think that in 3 weeks we will all be home in Akron with a whole year of college behind us. OK, time to pick up my controller and get back into the game. I am gonna kick butt while waiting to see if my cell rings again - yeah Erica.

This past week has been a lot of nothing, and by that, I mean a lot of college work. I had on my plate so much to accomplish, but successfully I did it all. This includes a 6 page screenplay scene started at 3 am one morning, due in the afternoon. I must say that I am good at getting work done. I am good at getting work done on time, but with severe physical strain on my body and mind. No bother, thats college I guess.
Before I get into the most recent events, cause those are the only I remember, I will share with you something amazing I saw on TV. While watching MTV a new commercial came on for their new block of shows, WATCHABLES. The block consists of high school related shows and the commercial plays on LUNCHABLES brand snack for kids. Thats not important, in my opinion MTV should get back to the M (M meaning music). Anyway, the refrigerator from which the kid in the commercial gets his after school snack has a few magnetic letters on it. Check it out
Does anyone else from my home town of AKRON, or my home area of CORFU see this as well? You be the judge, its an enigma wrapped in a riddle wrapped in a vest.
So after my all nigher with my paper and all the work done on my film, I am lookin for some down time, but no. So far we deflowered the good name of Tuesday night with a lil get together, I stayed up into the sunlight hours being a good host, and I slept through my nine oclock this morn. If I am going to be in good shape to visit MY BOY Aaron with Josh 2 in Troy this weekend, I need to get on the stick and get some serious work done. Oh well, I am going back to shower and go back to bed. At least I registered my classes this morn at 7... no wait, I only got into 2 of the 5 I wanted. GRR~

I just got in from a five and a half hour film shoot for my partner Michele's film. We were told to work with another person so they can make sure our lights are metered correctly and our shots come out all pretty. I guess its a good idea to partner up, well we did help eachother out a lot..whatever. Right now I am swimming throught pages of the Ithaca College Website. I need to have a schedule ready for registration next Wednesday. Its kinda a pain. I think I am gonna just go to bed early and do this tomorrow after painting class. Hopefully I won't be a liar again, and just stay up and edit old video I have, like last time...
This week is nothing special, I am gonna fill out tax forms, get my car ready to go to the shop, and my class schedule for next year. Also I think I may be getting together with my apartment-mates for next year. It will be nice to live closer to the Park School next year, and not have to lug shite all the way across campus to the Terraces. Anyway, I am just putting off giving in to the evils of sleep. Guess that was a crapy April fools joke. Most people asked me about my computer, or the car, no one cared about the drugs. But at least I am proud of my prank. I'll do better next year. Promise~
Right now I am dying my hair pink again.. it was fadey. I am hanging out in my room playing the new Zelda for GameCube. Its really a kickass game. My roommate tells me its a kid's game, but I always just stick my fingers in my ears and "la la la" until he goes away, haha. I ran to Wegman's earlier and got almost ten dollars worth in bottle and can returns. That was fun. Hmm... its too shitty out to do anything really entertaining. If all goes as planned, I will tag along to another theatre party tonight. We shall see if this night gets any more exciting.
I have no clue what to expect this coming week. I shot my final film in a two day awake-athon, and therefore I am invulnerable to my bed, but hooked on JoLT. So things will definately be interesting. Regardless, I am going to finish my hair, finish this level, and finish off the weekend right.

Ok, let me tell you all this before people spread roumors about me. Yes we got in a car accident. No it wasn't my car. Yes the driver was drinking. No he wasn't over the legal limit. Yes the cops got us for drugs. No it wasn't cocain, it was weed. Yes I am facing 2nd level drug possession from Ithaca's Judicial Review. No I am not kicked out of school. Just keep the stories straight guys. I don't want this any bigger than it has to be. I'll be updating my BLOG whenever I can get here to the library lab, because they took my tower.
