Ok, let me tell you all this before people spread roumors about me. Yes we got in a car accident. No it wasn't my car. Yes the driver was drinking. No he wasn't over the legal limit. Yes the cops got us for drugs. No it wasn't cocain, it was weed. Yes I am facing 2nd level drug possession from Ithaca's Judicial Review. No I am not kicked out of school. Just keep the stories straight guys. I don't want this any bigger than it has to be. I'll be updating my BLOG whenever I can get here to the library lab, because they took my tower. Hope you are all doing better than I am right now~ Peace

My weekend in one phrase. "I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN THROUGH NEW JERSEY SO MANY TIMES IN A SINGLE TWO DAY PERIOD." Yes, Mom and Dad, I traveled to the Tri-State Area this weekend. Me, Brian, andAndrew had set a course for a rave and concert, and we succeeded in numerous ways. Friday afternoon at 3 Brian and I got on a bus set for Middletown, NY. We met up with Andrew and another friend of theirs, uh, Bryan, and started out for the city. After a few CDs worth of hard rock and stand-up, we make NYC. One short drive down the wrong way of a Lincoln Tunnel exit, and we park the car, and walk to our destination. On 30th and 6th, the three of us pay our fee and enter. It was my first rave, but Brian, Bryan, and Andrew were veterans. We got in at 10, and didn't come out until 3 Saturday morning. There were all these pretty popular DJs there, none of which I recognised, but dancing and meeting people and the drugs ( I kid about the drugs folks) was fantastic. The music and the lights and the people really made for an experience that only Brian can say, "Is like being reborn." Amen. The site that has our pics on it is RAVERSONLY.COM. Its pretty chill~ We drove back to Middletown after the rave after a short misguided swing through the backroads of NJ. Getting back to a bed as the sun rose, 5:56 AM... Appropriate ending to an almost untoppable evening.

Five hours of sleep later, me Bri and Andrew are back on the thruway. Again New Jersey bound, but this time we are to stay in NJ. We arrive at the club KROME in S. Amboy for the 2 o'clock show of MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE . Putty Root and NY Rel-X opened for the main attraction and finally at 4 MSI went on and the madness began. Coming out with pink fishnets and an umbrella, the lead singer Jimmy Urine put on a great show with hit songs, broken up pieces of styrofoam, a gallon of milk, pepto-bismol, a dog mask, and spray on deoderant. Pictures that Brian took will be posted soon. That pit was the most insane physical concert trial of my life. I was pressed up tighter to young Jersey Girls than I ever hope to be again... you know I am kidding Jenifer~ At 6 we departed Jersey and Headed for the Palisade Mall. It was just too big in there to imagine ever getting anything productive done. But it was all part of the weekend in the Tri-state area. All in all, fantastic weekend, sick rave, sick concert, great hospitality by the McCarthy's, great driving by Andrew. Outstanding weekend!!!

Today I got back to IC and started on my laundry and my website. You have no clue about how much I worked to archive my BLOG, and fix this format. I caught a ham sub, watched the entire season of FUTURAMA on DVD, and caught up with the events of the weekend. Things didn't seem to upheave too much without me here ;). Right now I am going to put off showering again, tomorrow morning will be soooooo sweet. I would like to give a shout out to Amanda in MSU, sorry your hot bod got you in trouble again, remember that time we...oh yeah~ I think this week will be a fantastic catch-up on work. I'll outline it all later, but for now, I cannot wait to get more into my filmmaking.

I am really thinking about the future lately. I had a dream last night I wasn't able to become a film director. I was on deathrow in this warped dirty old mutant filled jail, but regardless, it scared me. I felt the need for meaning and furthered accomplishment in my life. Maybe its the lack of sleep, or the FOOT OF SNOW THAT HAS FALLEN IN ITHACA IN THE LAST 24 HOURS, or maybe its just nothing. Either way, I am glad to be where I am, and I will continue enjoying every minute of it. : Final Thought

Do you like the new format? I changed up the colours, the alignment, and I'm even starting to insert links to pics and sites for further enlightenment. Click and navigate and enjoy. That is all. Good night ~ 2:50 AM

Ok - I apoligise for the delay. I know there are some of you out there that really really like the dribble I put here, KANE!!! Regardless, here we go. Monday the 17th.- the sun was shining, I drove my Volvo through the campus of IC, listening to DMB, watching people play baseball. It was a great welcome back. In Painting we stretched our own canvases, Cinema production let us explore the 'new' Macintosh OS X interface (haha lady, I grew up on the apple interface), and in Music and the Media the professor tore pages out of an old dictionary - cause it sucked - and we watched Jacko's THRILLER. That night we celebrated St. Patrick's day accordingly. The rest of the week's classes brought nothing special, except for the integration of FINAL CUT PRO into my DV editing knowledge. Plus Brian let me pirate his copy, so it's now installed on my own Mac too. Therefore I will never have to use the dumb editing suite all the way down in Park, but they do have the widescreen plasma monitors... regardless - thanks Bri.

Friday night we all went to Kelly's Dockside Club. I danced the night away with Dave and Linds and Jill and Wil. I met a chick who really loved my pink hair. Hers was just as pink as mine as a matter of fact. Nicole from Cornell with the pink hair and I danced for a good bit. Turns out she graduated last year and owns a business firm in Ithaca. Made me feel good about myself, sure did. There was good music, and hot girls, and a fist fight, very classy night. Saturday Dave went home and I saw BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE on campus with Bri and his G/F. After the movie I drove down to a theatre party. Being a tolken straight guy, I was a welcomed guest. I danced with my intoxicated old RA, and was cautious of whose ass I bumped into while dancin'. And even though it was a Sat, I refused to not participate in the exchange of Mardi Gras beads. I had a good Saturday night.

Sunday was a waste day, as usual. But I did watch the Oscars. I called it, "Doing my homework on how to give a good acceptance speech." I WILL be up there some day, I promise. Steve Martin hosted nicely, but lay off J.Lo. I really dug how BEST ACTOR Adrien Brody got even the orchestra to stop when he went over his alotted time. I give credit to BEST DOCUMENTAIRY writer/producer/director Michael Moore, but there are appropriate times and places for things... Meanwhile, I cannot help but watch the news... I am intruiged... my emotions are on a roller coaster... I even stayed up late last night (like 3 AM) to watch a dumb recording of "Saddam Hussein " talk about general things....BOO.

Today I painted, I experienced the weirdest Cinema class ever, almost assuredly aced a test I had studied for, and researched cigarettes for the IC production of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. Back to the Cine. class... First the lecture hall was completely dark, and there are no windows in this place - its a movie theatre basically. The prof is telling us about the final film we need to complete, a personal expression of ourselves. She goes into how we need to not hold back anything, because it may be for an audience, but it is full of ourselves. So in the theme of expressing ourselves, she takes the 100+ of us outside to the lot next the building, and we do exercises. We stretch in the sun, we touch our toes, and then shes like, "Plug your ears and shut your eyes. When you feel comfortable, yell. Yell or scream or laugh out loud. You know that no one here will judge you or criticize." What an awesome, hippie - yes, granola - yes, but awesome teacher. She then showed us films entailing coming to grips with homosexuality, HIV, and a personal film of hers about (her) human body. I think I am going to do my final film on sleep patterns and disorders, with mainly myself as a subject. Hopefully I can use some video footage of myself sleeping, with the nightvision setting on my video cam. We shall see.

Adjenda for tonight: I am gonna finish this update, haha, finish the sonogram movie for my sis's website, and update the rest of it, then I think I am going to rehash the weblog setup I have. I am thinking about archiving the past entries by semester, counting breaks. Also I am gonna mix up the way I log stuff. So keep an eye out for that. Hope you enjoyed the update Kane, I'll see y'all later~

Looking at the week that its been since I updated, I can retrospectivly say this vacation has been the best. Sat night I spent with Josh 2(Kraft), Aaron, and Elliot. Sunday I ate dinner at my sister's house then me and the guys hung out, then Monday I get a call from my friend Wil from OH. He was gonna be in Buffalo, so I put him up for the night. We went to OLD SCHOOL with Josh 2, quality quality flick. Tuesday night my bud Kane took me up to Canada for a night of gentlemanly fun. No 'ballet' folks, but next time I go to Canada I plan to take in the culture more. We ate at Kelsey's, spent $5 at the casino, got some drinks at Hard Rock, then settled at Daily Planet for Canadian Beer and pool. Wednesday I had to take all the damn animals to the vet. Thursday me and Josh 2 went back to my high school, it is more and more different each time I go there. Thurs night we went to IHOP. This, ladies and gentlemen, deserves a paragraph of its own.

Kane was waiting for me Josh 2 and Aaron at IHOP for like 20 mins. We get there and he has already warmed up to the waitress Danielle over a pitcher of coffee. Over the course of 2.5 hours, a brownie, a sundae, onion rings, two pancakes, and a side of ham, we obtain this information from our red-headed waitress Danielle D. She works the late shift often (6-1am), she attends ECC(when she goes), she has no car(affecting her school attendance), she lost her IHOP tie which got run over by a car and her mom washed and is now all wrinkly, she is majoring in social sciences(i guessed sociology), and she isn't the only Danielle D. that works at IHOP. SHe was a great waitress, she was attentive and funny, and kinda cute, i thought. SHe definately got us all with this: Josh 2 goes to the bathroom, and she's like, "should I steal his coat??" Of course, we agree. Josh 2 has no clue what has happened. Finally we got it back before we left, she actually took it and washed off the spot of catsup on the sleeve that Kane splattered everywhere. It was hilarious. But theres more. We all unloaded old cards and shit from our wallets to leave as her tip, along with some loonies i had left over from Canada. Kane wrote on the check "you rock." and on the back he left all our numbers, with a comment by our names to help her identify each of us. Josh 2 was the stolen coat, I was the Jew with the side of ham, Derik was the catsup flinger, and Aaron had no comment. Leaving that table was the most hilarious thing ever. I will definately go back to IHOP soon~

Right now I am chilling at Kraft's house, watching him pour through old GIJoes, and make all the battle noises. Aaron and I are staying with him this weekend cause his family is in Detroit. He was going to be alone to watch the dogs and cat. We thought he'd need some company. What's that you say? Party at Kraft's house? I think not *wink* Call ahead to let us know how many kegs we should get... j/j but I will have some crazy pics from the night. Stay tuned~

This last week of school before "spring break" has been a sorted hell. My computer crashed SO many times, but Brian's did too, and we are the only mac users. I think it was a localized virus or a hardware conflict that takes 6 months to emerge.....whatever, i hate apple now. (for now) Other things that happened to throw the scales into balance and to chaos: Well, crashing and erasing and crashing my harddrive, my music and the media midterm moved to after break, my director's chair's arm breaking off, getting new rooming plans for next year ( i will go into that one later), its been so weird. But all in all, I do get to go home for a week soon.

Tonight we went to Wegmans, watched movies, etc, and suddenly people started drpping like flies. So I am buzzing on this coffee espresso shooter thing, and I find three other guys chilling in the RA's room on the 2nd floor. We watched soccer, had a toast, finished the B-movie "BATS" and watched some retarded game show. Tomorrow will be ok once it gets here. I have a lunch date, have to reschedule an ushering gig in the theatre building so i can go to a concert in NJ, take some shots around campus, nap, do laundry, pack and await my ride home to the little town with the moat dug around it, and the drawbridge keeping you all out~

check out these random images depicting damages about our building that occured some time tonight!

Yesterday we got our IC crew together and went to this club by the lake, Kelly's Dockside. There was a nice sized line, but we got there just in time. The front was a bar for all the elderly ones. The back was a patio and lounge, and a path lead to a boat/wharf thing on the water. There was a dj and a bar there, and people were dancing. It was a great time to get our "freak"on. At midnight there was a rap battle. The guy from the local rap group IC KINGS won it naturally. It was really an entertaining time.

Tonight we are ordering chinese food and tea and chilling with some movies etc on the first floor. Tomorrow will be a waste of a day. I can feel it. Monday through Thurs. will be a blur of a midterm here and a homework there. Saturday is on my mind. Daddy is coming to pick me and my things up, and I am driving my Volvo home. Yay for vacation. The gang will be back together(most of us). I cant wait to drink and smoke it up at home again, haha made you look~
