Today's five hour block between my two classes warrants an update. I awoke with a headache, hopefully it wont lead into the flu that everyone seems to be getting. ...Thats about all there is. Classes are stil gaining momentum, so nothing too exciting has been happening. I watched three episodes of the TWILIGHT ZONE for my screenwriting class, that was cool.

Its neat to meet new people on the floor. One girl is training a black lab to be a seeing eye dog, so its refreshing to see Sable running around the hallways. This kid Will plays his music really loud, but is nice about it, cause it is good music, and he just bleached his hair, which is a neat contrast to his dark complexion. I have been listening to a lot of new music lately, I picked up the newer Coldplay album, have been listening to jazz fusion, and actually playing aound with my own stuff a lot. We'll see if the song my roommate wants to finish ever gets posted here.

The rest of today I am going to my screenwriting class, then a meeting for Trailer Park, which made me a producer, yay! I can't wait to get back into the TV thing, its a nice escape from school. Tomorrow I work 1-4.30 and then the weekend begins. Maybe the 2nd weekend back can be as fun as the first. So, for now, check out the pics of my room. Its not as big as the lounge, but can still be a social area and not feel too cramped when someone has work to do. enjoy

Welcome back to the weblog. I have been on vacation from the web for a while, but I have lots to tell about. Moving in to my new room with Dave was really a trip, and there was a lot to do... Moving in all of my things from the car, plus all the stuff I had in the Lounge took the majority of the day. I plunked all my things in the room then waited for Dave to arrive so we could make the room our own together (and boy do we have a spicy setup). Setting up the room took the whole weekend plus a little more, it gets better and better every day. I will post pics.

However, with all the joy, there must be tragedy... My monitor decided to burn out last Sat. night, so I had to buy a new one... Then the internet was down, then I spill water on my keyboard, then I buy books, then pay for this and for that, and you get the picture.

My week of classes was fantastic, cinema production involves me shooting and editing music (how boring, you know!) screenwriting is a lot like AP english, Painting is fantastic fun (but expensive), and I got into a music and the media course, which sounds fun, listening to music and seeing how the devil-media uses it to brainwash us all. And yeah I also have no classes on fridays. So i think this semester will go well. All I need is for dumb females to stop being dumb..hmmm The first weekend was great as well. We chilled, we danced in the clubs, we did stuff. The superbowl is today, and me and my boy Dave are gonna root our raiders on to victory... well his raiders. Its good to be "home" Its good to have purpose. The meaning of a man's life is to have purpose. Its good to have purpose. Objectives for the week: Getting all my reading done for my classes, Creating a website for my sister's baby, and hmm, well not much important is on my plate, I am sure something menial will take up my time, but if it feels good - do it. Its good to have purpose.

Ok, to recap... My vacation has truly been enjoyable with the passing of the year I most looked forward to. I spent that evening with nearest and dearest eating lobster and steaks and Heineken. We kicked new year with a traditional Akron celebration, everyone gathered in the park with a crappy dj, a wrecking ball for the "ball," fireworks C/O Akron Fire Dept, and the police looking the other way with large amounts of public consumption of alcohol. Happy New Year.

Otherwise I have spent numerous hours murdering innocents on my PS2, sledding behind our high school on a school day, and wondering why no other kids are out, haha, seeing movies, and generally partaking in illegal activities with my friends. We got a lot of our one day sledding on video tape, I will be editing a music video starring all my friends.

I have a good 8 days until I return to school. I think next week i will drive out to Sodus Point to visit my roomie Dave. I can officially say that now becasue we are officially roommates with the assignment of our new double (normal) room, offically. As for now, i am going to bed, I finally got to sit through LOTR without falling asleep, haha. Yes, if I am to function tomorrow, I should go to bed... NOW!!

Damn it, i had an awesome all enclusive update for you all, and wouldn't you know it, i kicked the fricken power cord from the wall. GRR! knock on wood, i hope this has no bearing on the goings on of the rest of the day. I have to get dressed, i'll update tonight~
