Wicca is an extension of antient religions from before the time of Christianity (oh yeah, way before) It involves the Worship of both a God and a Goddess. Who, being powerful, but do have thier flaws, are not some 'unreachable all powerful, all judgeing male force'. They are much closer to people as you and I know them. Equal but opposite, the gods play out the year together.

The God Often less noted than his female counterpart by some, and completely eliminated by others, The God is an important part of my belief.The male force of the All He represents Strength, Passion and Perseverence.

The Goddess Well noted and often used in conversation to diferentiate ourselves from mainstream religions. The Goddess is the female portion of the All. She represents Love, Patience and Firtility.

More Basics

The Earth is sacred to us. That's right, cause if Momma ain't happy, aint NOBODY happy. We honor the Earth as a mother. We make our temples in the wild growing places of the world. We make them in our yards and in our home. Every inch of the planet is suitible for our love and honor. Annother thing you will catch us Witchies doing occasionally is stareing apparently blankly at the moon. No, we hae not got "moon madness." The moon is simply an ever-present reminder of the Goddess' presance in our Lives. Each phase of the moon represents annother aspect of Her being. Where's the God in all this? Well, He got the Sun. The warm, life-giving light that shines upon us and makes each day.
