Paganism and Hate Crime: It can happen to you.

The image the slide showed will always be fresh in my mind: The charred skelital remiains of a young man, not much older than me. His hands still gripped the steering wheel of his blue Dodge Omni. He had been a security officer, the metal ring that once kept the crown of his hat in place now dangled lazily around his neck. It looke to have been a warm summer's day, and I could only imagine the fear that he must have endured in the final seconds of his life, untill the instructor spoke those cold, uncareing words "He was into that medievil stuff, so they burned him"



This story is true. It happened in my Criminal Evidence class. There are, indeed still people among us who practice such atrocities. Work in your community, educate your neighbors, but above all, protect yourself, only then can your cries truly mean "Never again the Burning Times!"
