We took a week in November 1998 to tour from SLC to the parks around Moab, UT (i.e., Arches N.P., Canyonlands N.P., and Dead Horse Point S.P.) and then to visit friends and family in Colorado. For variety, we returned thru Wyoming.

As a mission objective for this vacation, we forced ourselves to dine and/or drink at a microbrewery every single day. Between the Utah locations and the holiday/weekend schedules, we figured this might be a decent challenge. As it turned out, on Thanksgiving day the only place we found open was part of a regional chain. Surprisingly, we went anyway.
