Between Capitol Reef N.P. and Bryce Canyon N.P is a very scenic stretch of highway, with humongous vistas of mostly federal lands, with amazing side canyons, daring roadways, and curious state parks. Kodachrome Basin is a bit overpowered by nearby Bryce, but it's a lot quieter.
