gayle is six months pregnant. she hasn't picked out a name yet but says she is 80 per cent sure it is going to be a boy. names that won't work are david, andrew, and jesus (pronounced in the latin american way) because of the names of close relatives and, well, you just can't name your kid jesus. naming a kid is a tough thing to do, but if i were to have a boy i would name him issac, i think thats a good name. or maybe i should make his name out so that the initals would come out to m.e.h., but them my kid would be forever apathetic.

manchester united and arsenal tied (0-0) today, it must have been a great game. i can't exactly remember right now but i think i remember reading that arsenal had a man foul out so they were one man short towards the end of the game, and man u got a penalty kick but blew it. one thing i learned (and grew to appreciate) in england was the skill and strategy one needs to play football. cricket on the other hand is just long, boring, and... long. other teams i'm keeping my eye on are chelsea (who cleaned up on wolverhampton today, 5-0), liverpool, everton, and fulham. also on the sports note, the twins and vikings rock.

how do you do?
well as of late i've just been going to uni and working, fun fun stuff. i finally got my finacial aid after i practically moved the papers and forms through the international programs office to the register's office and then onto the financial aid department and then i told them they could remove the hold i had on my federal funds. i hate the ipo.
transfering module credits
in order to get the credits for the classes i took in london to count towards what i wanted them to count for in geography i had to talk to the chair for the geography department. after he filled out the proper forms i asked what he had been up to while i was away. he told me about his adventures up and down the east coast visiting other geography departments and what not. when he was in nyc in september of 2003 he wanted to do a little follow up on one of his studies he did a while back so he went around to libraries in the nyc area asking about the city's water supply, he cut his research short when he started getting funny looks from people... note to self: don't ask about the vital resources of a city.

ah yes, fall is here once again and football, rugby, and american football have plundged into their new seasons, plus the twins look to be finishing in first place in the al central, an extra bonus. big news, man u vs arsenal this sunday (21.9.03 @ 16.05 gmt). my birthday would only be better if i didn't have to work.

when i got home from saint peter this friday i had a message waiting for me to call a co-worker back so i did. she said she wanted to take my opening shift on saturday. sweet. so i called up heather p and told her that i could carpool w/ her to appleton, wisconsin (me mum loaned me some money). in appleton we met up sir ryan roth, anne rasmussen, and a few people ryan knew from prevous semesters in london. that day (sat) we went to the beach, talked, and watch a movie. the next day we went rafting down the wolf river, fun fun stuff, and then saw what the one horse town of appleton had to offer. a pretty good bar scene. and then parted today.
at uni
i ran into little jenny (spring semester '03) on campus. this means i could possibly meet up with jenny, krista, and danielle at some point which would be pretty cool. i'm also supposed to give my former flatmates jackie and gabrielle (from my sophmore year) a ring to meet up sometime. today tall katie (toutges) emailed me back and told me she is still in mankato. coolio. people are good. i can't wait to see them all.
