Jerusalem 2 Outpost

The Biographies listed here are the Biographies of some of the participants of the earlier days of Hourglass 2 Outpost as well as some who have posted at E2O and J2O. For almost a year it hasn't been changed, but each of these forums has. So for the participants of today that would like to have their biographies listed here, I am reopening the Biographies section!

PLEASE NOTE: Most updates have already been completed, included fixing the links in the navigation and text links.  As well, all counters are currently working for each of the bios.  I will still take some time to view this site on different computers when available to see how it looks on them also.

How To Submit

There are two methods for doing this. In either case, the information needed is the same, the only difference is in the way you submit it. Both methods are intended to ensure that the person submitting the bio is the person it is about. I am sure you will agree that a biography on, say, Jan H. by Fred Hall (or vice versa) is not much use to anyone! Both methods are fairly simple:

• 1 - Submit your biography to one of the Forums. Copy the template from the box below and paste it into a post on J2O, H2O, E2O or New Salem. Give the post a suitable subject (e.g. "H2O Biography"), and drop J2O/H2O/E2O/NS Biographies an e-mail so that I won't miss it. When I've created the bio from your post, I will post a reply on J2O/H2O/E2O/NS (in your thread).

  [The main advantage of this method is that you do not need an e-mail account. The main disadvantage is that it adds to bandwidth.]

• 2 - Submit your biography via e-mail. Again, copy the template below and paste it into an e-mail straight to J2O/H2O/E2O/NS Biographies. When I add your bio to the site, I will simply reply by e-mail.

  [This method obviously means that you need an e-mail address. If you do not already have an anonymous e-mail address, these can be created at places like Hotmail, Excite and Yahoo.]

Please allow 24 to 48 hours for your Bio to be ready!

All information is optional except the Nickname you use on the forums and the Biography itself!

Comments on Others

You may also post comments to another person's bio on three conditions;

1. That person already has a Bio up.

2. YOU have a Bio up!

3. No attacks.

Simply submit your commentary the same as above, either through email or one of the four Forums. Even if you post it on a Forum, it is best to send me an email to let me know it's there because I might not always be able to check and may not see it.

Editorial Policy

My approach can't be anything but purely subjective, but I would aim that the bio's as posted are unedited. Of course, I must reserve the right to refuse a bio, but will generally only do so for the following reasons:

• Length. While the bios are interesting to read, please remember that longer Bios make for longer page loading times, and take up much more space on the web server. Read some of the bios and it should give you a feel for the longest amount I will allow.
• FPP-type Issues. I will reject a bio along the same lines as a moderator will reject a post: if it contains bad language, slander about other people on J2O/H2O/E2O/NS, racist or sexist comments etc.

If I reject a bio, I'll let the person submitting know why, and give them the opportunity to re-submit.
