I am third generation J.W. (My story is told on my site at www.brokenchains.net/page3.html.) I discovered the deception of the J.W.s in early 1980's when I attended an ex-J.W. convention held at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa California. I was afraid to go, but went any way...I am so glad now I did! I met the famous "evil slave" Bill Cetnar at this convention. I remembered his name being read, when I was a little girl, in the congregation to warn us to not talk to him! I discovered what a sincere, loving and honest man he was. He was only considered an "evil slave" because he was actively involved in exposing the DECEPTIONS of the Watchtower. I saw the evidence of changed dates, false prophecies and was shocked to discover that there was a lot of mental illness and suicide in the members of the Watchtower organization. This was important to me, because my own brother committed suicide at 16 years of age because of the Watchtower organization. I was near to suicide at that point in my life also. It was healing to be able to tell his story in 1984 in the video "Witnesses of Jehovah".  His death has helped so many. At least his death wasn't completely in vain. I am so happy to see the mass exodus from this cult. In the early 1980's, there were very few that had left in comparison to now what is happening. Thanks to the Internet and other means of information, many are leaving. I just hope that people don't turn from God, because He has been so poorly represented by people in this cult and other cults, and other "Christian" churches. In Love, Rhonda/Rahab.
