Amy Nicholls Day
Hi all!  Just a quick update for you all, and just to say hi!

Another year has flown by!  Things remain the same with my husband and myself - my husband is working in a store like "home depot" although this is his 8th job in 14 years!  I work on a casual basis with a nursing agency, and also do voluntary secretarial work with a sports chaplain, and also visit and assist some other of our elderly in the church.

Our eldest, Lexie, turns 21 in February and has just finished a degree i medical and pharmacuetical biotechnology  She has gained a job at Protherics - a lab kind of place that deals with snake venom or something along the lines like that!  She starts there the second week in January, so we are all pleased and proud that she has got a real job!

Georgie turns 19 in January and is currently in China.  She obtained a scholarship to study chinese language and culture at the Zhe Jiang University in HangZhou, and returns after a year of study in February 2008.  She has loved the experience and would prefer not to come back to Australia, but will be returning to start a double degree in Arts and Education.  When she finishes that, who knows - she may return to China then.

Joshua turns 18 early March and has just completed his senior year.  He has no idea what he wants to do but knows that at this stage he doesn't want to do any more study!!!  A job, or learning a trade is hopefully on the card for him in 2008!

Thomas is 16 in April and has just completed his sophmore year.  He enjoys the simple things in life!

One big change for our family is that my parents will be moving from Sydney to Adelaide after being in Sydney for 10 years.  Dad is now 86 and mother just turned 80, but they are both very fit and active.  Mother has been teaching English as a second language for the past 10 years!  They will be living only 4 kilometres away from me so it will be lovely to be able to care for my own parents like I do for my in-laws and also others in the church!

Well, that's me in a nutshell for 2007!  I have included photos of the Nicholls family for those who know them and may just like to see what they look like now!

May this Christmas season lead us to a deeper awareness of God's love and new blessings of His goodness!

Love to All,
Amy Day (nee Nicholls)
