Dear Class
The last quarter of 2007 has been so hectic that I wish I could turn back the clock to re-live it in a slower tempo with more clarity and intensity. Yes, I am just feeling greedy for more of life.
I wish each of you a slower year in 2008! Slowing down mindfully to fully experience each moment as it comes. Walk instead of drive when you can, feel the ground of the earth when you walk, appreciate the oxygen as you breath in and breath out, chew slowly to really taste the food, read slowly to understand the written as well as the unwritten; listen mindfully to your loved ones to understand both the verbal and the non-verbal messages (except for nagging). Maximize your senses in slow motion. Slow down and relish each moment as it is.
Instead of gobbling life, may we all slow down to really taste it as we would with the finest wine, rarest Dongding Oolong tea or the sweetest spring water.
Now, shall we enjoy this year's updates and lovely pictures from our old friends with a slow digitus segundus...
