Dear Class
We are donig well. Our Little Charlie is in 1st grade. He's taken to reading and chess and, finally, school rules. He remains sensitive, and earlier this year made a prize at home for a girl who didn't receive the regular encouragement for children that don't speak in class or otherwise cause disharmony. He can't stand for anyone to be left out. Katie is in 5th grade. She's continued to read - Harry Potter and similar. She does well at chess and enjoys her friends at school.
I'm enjoying both contract work and a regualr gig and finding time to at least hike on the weekends some. Daisy seems to still fancy me so all is well.
Photo is of our camp this past summer near Show Low, AZ. That's Charlie between the tents, my father-in-law at the table, and Katie hunched over what is probably the grill at the back. As always, it's not where we camp so much as what we eat.
