James Dreyfus is best-known for his exceptionally camp comedy characters in Gimme Gimme Gimme, Absolutely Fabulous and Notting Hill.
A fabulous acting career James may have, but no culinary know how - James doesn't even know how to cook rice!
"The last thing I had a little go at was an omelette which I burnt. I eat out, I get takeaways or am cooked for, but no I never cook."
Which is why James decided to take part in Hell's Kitchen. Who better to learn from than the maestro himself, Michelin star chef Gordon Ramsay. But that doesn't mean James is not terrified of him.
"I was scared of Gordon, but I think the only reasons to be scared is if you are lazy or you don't try hard. I just want to go back to my culinary proficient friends and say 'You don't do it like that, Gordon say's you do it like this'."
Despite this James is convinced that he will be shouted at some point but isn't too sure how he'll react.
"I might cry or laugh after working a week and a half in Hell's Kitchen." |
