The Fundraiser

Richardfest is Gabriel Richard Elementary School’s triennial PTO Fundraiser. We conduct a silent and live auction as well as a huge carnival-like event.  We alternate this event with Kerby and Maire Elementary Schools. It only comes once every three years so please help us make it the best ever!

For Adults Night- Auction
The Adult Auction will be held Friday, February 27, 2004 in the War Memorial Crystal Ballroom with live entertainment, exceptional food, and a wide variety of items to bid on. The Auction items are created by the students, donated by Richard families, staff and friends, as well as donated by local businesses. This is a very special night for the community and Richard Elementary.

For Kids of all Ages- Carnival
The Carnival will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at our own Pere Gabriel Richard Elementary school in Grosse Pointe, Michigan  USA.. Each classroom will be asked to design a simple game, suitable for all ages, that coincides with the theme. Game tickets will be sold and participants will use the tickets to play the game. Children usually “win” some form of a prize for participating. The gym will be transformed into a mini restaurant serving food such as hot dogs, pizza, subs, etc. Also with live entertainment for the kids, it’s a ton of fun for Richard families and the community!
