Raffle ticket sales are rolling!! Many of you are doing an awesome job! We are still short of our 660+ ticket goal. Richard families don’t miss your opportunity to win one of those fabulous cash prizes. More importantly our kids benefit from every ticket sold. Thank you for all your time, effort and generosity. Don’t forget! If you would like to go the extra mile…. You could win one of three terrific Richardfest gift baskets! Each will include 2 Richardfest auction tickets, 40 carnival tickets, and some fabulous and fashionable Richard Wear.
What: The Richardfest Raffle is ~ less than 1 month away. That means your friends and family have a chance to win one of 19 fabulous cash prizes totaling over $15,000! The grand prize is $5,000!
Why: To purchase a K-5 literacy library, an efficient copier, portable playground equipment, and to complete the mobile laptop computer lab, promised to Richard by the district. With budget cuts looming, now is the time to make this Richardfest the best ever!
Where: The drawing will immediately follow the Richardfest live Auction, Friday, February 27, 2004. You do not have to be present to win!
When: Now! The Richardfest Committee is requesting each family to sell the enclosed booklet of 6 raffle tickets at $25 a piece, for a total of $150. If you would like to go the extra mile…. the RF Committee will award some terrific Richardfest gift baskets to the top three ticket selling families. Each will include 2 Richardfest auction tickets, 40 carnival tickets, and some fabulous and fashionable Richard Wear.
Who: Parents, you have the power!! You must be 18 or over to sell and purchase raffle tickets.
How: Sell to friends, neighbors, family, and/or your office staff! Please return all $, ticket stubs and unsold tickets to me in the enclosed, addressed envelope by Tuesday, February 24, 2004. We must have everything returned prior to the raffle to comply with Michigan Charitable Gaming Division licensing rules. Most importantly, all checks and money orders should be made out to Richard PTO.
Richardfest comes once every three years and the Raffle is the big Kahuna. If every family sells at least the enclosed booklet we can net (minus those fabulous cash prizes) more than $20,000. Wow!
