QUICK READS
Got 5 minutes while the boss is out of the office, or it's pouring with rain outside and you don't want to go out for your lunch break, or you simply fancy reading something to lift your spirits a bit?  Then have a look at my short fiction - each one guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
Once upon a time, in a life long ago, I used to be a freelance writer.  It fitted in with my growing children and it brought in a little money.  I wrote my first story when I was five years old (and spent more time designing the book cover than the actual story).  When I grew up, my stories and articles were published in national newsstand magazines.  These are a few of the ones I'm particularly proud of.  Enjoy.
Close Encounters - an off beat story not short on laughs
Post Office Policy - mixed up mail with a twist
Dog’s Life - ever wondered what your dog was thinking?
Star Trip - a short sci-fi number packed with humour
Alarm Bells - something's upsetting the neighbours, but what?
Leopold - only the dog stands in his way
Love … Hate - she's supposed to cry at his funeral, but can she?
Murder! - witness to a murder that isn't
Second Chance - one man's chance to do it all again, only better this time
Big Blue Monster - Article about the 'joys' of travelling in a camper van.
Body Bits - how we make them suffer!
