Captain Spock Executive Officer/Science Officer, USS Enterprise Born to a prestigious Vulcan leader and his human wife, Spock rejected much of his human blood and tried to become a true Vulcan. Spock favored his Vulcan heritage and logic over human emotions, resulting in a very interesting personality and outlook on life. Spock was assigned to the Enterprise as the ship's first officer and science officer during Captain Pike's command. Spock remained on the ship when James Kirk took over command, and developed a strong friendship with Kirk. Spock left Starfleet and returned to Vulcan, but did not find peace and relucantly returned to his shipmates. Spock taught at Starfleet Academy and was on board the Enterprise when a cadet training mission turned into a deadly encounter with Khan. Spock sacrificed himself to save his crewmates, but mind-melded with McCoy to preserve his mind. Spock's body was sent to the Genesis planet which regenerated and rebirthed him. Spock served on the Enterprise during the Klingon peace treaty, and later found himself on Romulus trying to unify with the Vulcan's distant relatives. images:
