Thomas was born to Thomas
and Mary in about 1723, and probably at Northowram.
He married Susanna Durans at Mirfield Church on the 17th May, 1748.
Little is known about the
everyday lives of Thomas and Susanna but from one of the baptism records of
his children,
we learn that Thomas was a shoemaker.
Thomas and Susanna had five
children and they were all born at Mirfield. At least three of their
children survived into adulthood.
