Discounted Disney Tickets

While in Orlando, we are encouraging everyone to take advantage of the theme parks and area attractions. As a special bonus, Walt Disney World is offering our convention participants special discounted rates for admission into the Walt Disney World theme parks. Prices are as follows:

Adult prices:

Two day park hopper pass with one night at Pleasure Island: $86.37
Three day park hopper pass with one night at Pleasure Island: $125.55
Four day park hopper pass with unlimited visits to Pleasure Island: $165.87
Five day park hopper pass with unlimited visits to Pleasure Island: $188.32

Child prices:

Two-day park hopper pass: $68.89
Three-day park hopper pass: $100.64
Four-day park hopper pass: $132.29
Five-day park hopper pass: $150.46

Annual Pass (current rate)

Adult: $316.94
Child: $269.24

All of these passes are "Park Hoppers." A park hopper pass allows the purchaser to travel between and enter all four Disney parks in a single day. Park Hopper passes are not available to the general public. Without the park hopper passes, a Disney World vacationer would only be able to buy a one day pass to one park, which costs $46.64 (adult) and $37.10 (child) per park. As veteran Disney World visitors, we recommend the four and five day park hopper passes. It is impossible to see all of Disney World in a day or two, and the park hopper passes will not restrict you to a certain park.  Some parks are more fun than others, depending on your personal preferences and if you have children with you. Or if you wish to stay in Orlando for an extended period of time, the most economic choice would be an Annual Pass. Annual Passes gives the buyer unlimited visits to all four Disney theme parks for an entire year. This pass is best suited for Florida residents and those who will be visiting Orlando several times in one year.

Gargoyles Day at Disney

We at The Gathering 2000 would like to encourage everyone to join us for an "Unofficial Gargoyles Day at Disney". The Monday immediately following The Gathering, August  7, 2000, the staff of G2K and anyone interested in joining us will be going to Disney for the day. We will depart from the hotel lobby early Monday morning, time to be announced, and will be taking the hotel shuttle to Disneyworld. Once there, you do not have to stay with the group, but it will be a good opportunity to have some fun with new and old Gargoyle friends.  We call it an "unofficial day" because this is not a scheduled Disney event.

Please note:  Sorry, but we can not provide free entrance into Disneyworld, so you will have to purchase either a park hopper pass or a single day admission ticket. Let's get as many people as we can, to show Disney that we love Gargoyles!  We can't wait to see everyone there!

How to Order

To order your Park Hopper Passes to Disney World, print and fill out a copy of  Disney's official order form and mail it with payment included to the address provided.

Please, do NOT send order forms or payments for tickets to The Gathering. Disney will process all payments and send the passes directly to you (international orders accepted). All Park Hopper passes purchased through this offer are valid ONLY between the dates of July 28, 2000 to August 14, 2000. Be sure to check the dates you wish to visit Disneyworld, so the tickets will be valid during your planned stay in Orlando.

IMPORTANT:  Please note that you must still register for The Gathering 2000 if you wish to attend the convention!  Disney is NOT involved in the planning or administration of The Gathering, and the purchase of any Park Hopper pass does NOT include admission to the convention.  Please send all convention registration forms and payments for the same to the address provided on our Registration Information page.

Getting to the Disney Theme Parks

Even if you will not be renting a car for your stay in Orlando, you can still visit the Magic Kingdom.  The hotel where The Gathering 2000 will be held, The Ramada Resort & Conference Center,
offers its own FREE shuttle service to including the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, as well as many other local attractions.
