Aida Kensuke is not exactly the most popular character of Evangelion. In fact, I have never met a single person who chose him as their favorite character. But in any case he is a key character. Aida is Touji Suzahara's best friend and is also friends with Shinji. If you think his voice sounds familiar, it should. I heard that the actor on the dubbed version is also the voice of the green guy in Voltron. Aida loves the military. His dream is to pilot the EVA. In fact, he begs Misato to choose him as the fourth child. Unfortunaetly, Touji gets mangled and Shinji never comes back to class after Genesis 0:9 so Kensuke has no one to pal around with in classs. Aida always has a video camera with him. Aida was once in the entry plug with Shinji when they got caught in the middle of a battle. *Does it seem like I am rambling trying to make Kensuke seem interesting* He was the one that convinced Shinji to go home afte running away in Hedgehog's Dilemma. In conclusion, Aida Kensuke is an OK guy in my book.
