Touji Suzahara was chosen by the Marduk Project to be the fourth child and pilot of Evangelion Unit-03. His career is short lived, however, when the thirteenth angel infects the EVA during activation tests at Matsushiro base. Touji, in my personal opinion, is the only character who isn't screwed up. He is a caring individual and extracts revenge upon Shinji for injuring his sister in the battle against the third angel. He later reconciliated with Shinji and even allowed him to punch him in the face. Touji hates the second child, Asuka Langely. She immediately angers him by slapping him after an accident where he saw her panties. He flashes her and then gets slapped again. Touji only agrees to become the pilot if NERV would put his sister into their medical facilities. In the beginning, it appears Touji is a major pervert, fawning over Misato, but later on he develops feelings for a former nemesis, Hikari, the class represenative. It appears as though the two truly care about each other. Too bad we don't get to see what would have happened after the accident.
