Don't ask me why, but I just don't like Ritsuko Akagi. She is just... I don't know. In any case this is a profile on her, not my opinions of her. Ritsuko is in charge of the Evangelion Project. Ritsuko doesn't really like to talk about her past considering the hardships she's suffered. Her mother created the MAGI super computers, but just after completetion committed suicide. Ritsuko also has been having an affair with Gendo from the very start. Ritsuko has been friends with Misato and Ryoji Kaji since college where they all met. Ritsuko felt betrayed after learning Gendo chose Rei over her when SEELE interrogated her. She tries so hard not to be like her mother and not make the same mistakes but the results were "mother like daughter." Ritsuko called herself a fool and couldn't believe she actually loved Gendo. She was imprisoned by her lover after destroying the clones of Rei and the dummy plug system. Ritsuko knows all the secrets NERV is hiding. She knows the true essence of third impact, the Evangelions, and everything else involved with Project E. Ritsuko is also good friends with Maya Ibuki. Ritsuko and Maya are actually responsible for defeating an angel. The two successfully defeated the tenth angel when it infected the MAGI computers. What the Evangelions couldn't do, the mind of a young intellegent woman did. Ritsuko, in the movies, died after the MAGI, the woman part of her mother, betrayed her. Gendo told her he loved her. Ritsuko's last word was "Liar..." before a bullet ended her life.
