TASK: Make corrections to the following: How to become an astronut – A report by Nellie Ilefanty 1. Make sure that you are going to a school that has an excelent academic record, particularly in subjects related to your aim of becoming an astronut. May I recommend Haydon School – This is a good choice! 3. When you reach 12 years of age you will need to think carefully about additional lesssons in Astro- Physics and Sewing (it gets pretty boring out there in spice). 2. From the age of 11 you must start weightlessness training . The best weigh to do this is by lying in your bed for long periods of tim and asking your parents for constant supplies of nutrients. 4. Once you reach 14 years of age you must begin to plan your GCSE’s. I would like to recomend a GCSE course in "what to do if you meet an Alien in North Hillingdon Tube" or possibly "cookin a three course meal for aliens with too heads", but I can’t. 5. You will need to go to university and complete a course in "how to become an Astronut". 6. It is now time to become a citizen of the USA. 7. Finally, write a letter to NASA, (include a recent photograph) asking for a job on the next space shuttle.
