Who the heck is RaistlinŠ??, I hear you ask.
Those of you who know me from the Quartereck IRC server will know the story of RaistlinŠ and I. For those of you not familiar - here's the scoop. I began chatting with Frank Goldsmith (aka RaistlinŠ) on IRC in the summer of 1996 and eventually fell in love. That September, Frank came to Houston to visit me and, if everything went well, to stay. Well everything went better than we ever could have hoped and we are still together and have plans to get married - but no date is set yet. They say that you should be very wary of relationships started on the Internet, but I think that is because a lot of people adopt a fantasy character on IRC and are not truthful in what they tell people, leading to disappointments when and if they ever do meet. Over the years we have been together, and still continuing to chat on IRC, we have seen many relationships come and go. Frank and I, on the other hand, were completely truthful in our discussions and subsequently we get along great!
Frank and I share a lot of interests. He loves my horse almost as much as I do (and even more important, my horse likes HIM). We enjoy the same kinds of movies, we enjoy the same kinds of computer games, he shares my love of the country and outdoors. He is also a car nut, and is currently attending the Universal Technical Institute here in Houston, studying to become ASE certified as an Auto-Technician.
The only thing we have going against us is that he is a PC user and I am a MacIntosh owner!! So far this has led only to good natured bickering . Hopefully, hostilities will not increase!!!!
