So who is this Jayne person anyway?

I was born near London England in 1956, (yes, that makes me 41!!) I moved to Houston, Texas when I got married in 1982 and have lived here ever since. As you can imagine, I now sport a strange Anglo-Texan accent and my language is peppered with mixed phrases, such as "I'm fixing to make a cup of Tea now" and "see Ya'll Later". I love Houston and the people here and that is why I decided to stay here even though I am separated from my husband and all my family is back in England. I enjoy going back to England on a regular basis to keep in touch with my family and now have an extra reason in that I now have a new niece Abigail Rose, born May 5th, 1996.

My hobbies are varied and I have tried to include a little about some of them on this Home Page. However, in addition to the equestrian activities and IRC covered here, I also enjoy crafts such as knitting and sewing, embroidery and painting. I am somewhat of a country girl, although I live in the city, and I enjoy going for walks in the country, gardening and other outdoor pursuits.

Lately most of my spare time has been taken up with web page design. You may have noticed elsewhere on my pages that I am the Guide for Horses at The Mining Co. The Mining Co. is the largest collection of people-powered, special interest web sites on the Net. I have really enjoyed building the Horses site, which is starting to take on mammoth proportions and will keep growing as I add links and features every week.
