it's hate mail time. Let's talk about "Politically Correct". What the hell! Are you telling me that if someone calls me a 300 pound blimp, I should take them to court. If some homosexual hits on me, I am supposed to turn the other cheek. BULLSHIT!!!!!!! When did I wake up in a foreign country, or on another planet. |

| I thought this was the land of the free. Not the
land of the sissy. Not the land of the lawyer and courtroom. What in the world
has happened. I was taught that we all have the right to say and be what we
want. I fought for that right and even if I don't agree with what you think,
you have the right to think it. The right to think it does not give you the
right to impose your thoughts on me or mine. Oh I better be careful, someone might get offended, tough. This is my web space and as I have stated, using this space allows me to keep my sanity. |

| In my years working
with the Boy Scouts, I discovered that the most precious thing we own is our
integrity. I will not compromise my integrity to save someones feelings. I am
to old and cantankerous to change my ways. As I have been told many times, nobody has to wonder how they stand with me, I will tell them up front. I praise good work and correct shoddy. I believe the truth is an important tool that is under used today. Everyone seems to be afraid of hurting someone's feelings. If you tell someone the truth and they are offended, that person isn't worth a second thought. We all make mistakes and get corrected, gosh that's life. If you are one of those people that gets offended when someone corrects you, grow up. |
