DAY 15: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st (Continued)
Bought some souvenirs and had an ice-cream soda, and then raced down the street just in time to catch the bus for Tupper Lake Jct. The train was an hour or so late,- as it generally is, they say, so we really had plenty of time to make it.
We were two hours reaching Fulton Chain, which we had left two weeks before by canoe. Realized we were dirty for the first time, on the train coming down. Contrast with the other passengers, I suppose.
Rolled into Albany around eight. First thing I got was a shave,- second,- a bath,- third,- some sleep in a real bed.
FINIS.
