At the camp we met the usual dozen fellows who seem always to be in the train of the three girls, and Clara Tremmel, who is summering at a neighboring boarding-house.

We had a big fire in front of their open camp, and slept most comfortably in their log-cabin adjoining the main camp from 11:30 until 7:30. This was our last chance to sleep in a civilized bed, and we ought to have made more of it.
