Hi; Loved your site, unfortunately, I was not able to find any familiar relatives. My father is George John Cobb, born in Saskatchewan Canada July 21 1931 (32), his father George John was a twin (or triplet - found an extra birth
certificate same birthdate -late 1800s or early 1900s- after they all died) born in U.S.A. (New York we believe), their father was probably also a George. The triplet reference is interesting because my sister Joanne Wildsmith (nee Cobb) also had a set of identical triplets. Nice to see other Cobbs in the world, we've never known any others. My father and I are so interested in finding our family roots. My father's name is Kenneth Cobb who was born in Knox co. Kentucky. His father was Henry cobb and mother Martha Helton. Henry Cobb, his parents were Henry Cobb and Belle Sasser. As far as I kn w they all died in Knox co. Kentucky, please if you have any idea as to our relation, please feel free to e-mail me. My father was James Walter Cobb. He was first married to Mildred Gent. He later married my mother Vera cobb. My grandfather was John Henry Cobb. Married to liza reedand then to Nettie Johnson. My dad had a sister named Roseand one named Ethel. He also had a brother named George.

My Grandmother Mary Magdaline Cobb 1890 (aka Lanie)was the daughter of John E. Alexander Cobb 1855 son of Charles Banks Cobb 1800. Lanie married John Wesley Davis, they lived in Jemison Alabama they were the parents of my DAD, Dee Whitt Davis,Emeral Davis,John Wesley Davis,Winnie Beatrice Davis,Ruth Clifford Davis,Earl Davis. Kizzah and then to Mary Jane Attaway. The desc. listed for Margarette are not her children, but her two sisters. Just wanted to let you know.

I am a descendant of Andrew Jackson & Mary Jane Attaway Huffman, from Wood Co., Texas. Their son Ed Huffman, twin to Ida Huffman, was born in 1891, probably in Texas. They lived in the Nocona, Montague Co., TX, area before coming to OK,
I.T. Mary Jane ttaway Huffman, died in 1910 from contracting Typhoid fever. Buried beside Ed who died in 1914 (also from typhoid) in Lone Cedar Cem., Johnston Co., OK
