Aiya! I should be doing homework right now=P I was gonna just check my e-mails since I didn't check it yesterday...ONE DAY and I get 30 E-MAILS!!! Aiya! Craziness!!!
Anyhoo, I was going through my bookmarked pages and came across this one about Chinese characters and I thought I'd share it with you guys.
Other than that...I've been up to my neck with math homework...I fell behind with my calc homework and I'm struggling to catch up...thank goodness the bio test got postponed from Friday (same day as my calc test) to Monday!
Listening to my old Moulin Rouge soundtracks...*sigh*...I love those songs!
Anyhoo...gotta go! There's prayer meeting tonite, too...Better get working!

=) =) =) hehe...Yes, I am happy=) As some of you know, I had my road test this morning for my road test...and well, after a less-than-10-minute exam, I PASSED!!! Yay!!! The only "X" I got was "fails to observe properly controlled intersections"=P hehe...But yeah, I can't stop smiling right now=)
And well, other things that are adding to the happiness include:
a) WAY is gonna be participating in the World Vision 2004 Christmas Catalogue thing=)
b) I don't have too much homework this weekend...just some algeo and calc...but manageable=)
c) They took down the student honour roll after school yesterday, cuz many students (including me) were unhappy that they posted up everyone's name, gender, student number, midterm mark, and grade=P
d) Half day on Monday=)
e) I'm teaching my Sunbeam class tomorrow! Well...I'm more nervous than happy about that...but it'll be a new and challenging experience=P
Anyhoo, I'm sitting here right now, home alone (my parents went out to lunch with some church friends, and Cecilia's either at school or work), and eating one of those Parker Lee Chinese microwave dinner things=P It was the best lunch my refrigerator would provide=P

Haha...I love that quote! I read it in English class a while back...but yeah, it made me laugh.
Anyways...it's ONLY Tuesday!!! But I'm already kinda tired...But yeah, classes have been really slow these past two days, because of all the people who have been absent due to Mosaic practices=P Why are all lthe enhanced kids in EPS or some sort of music thing!?!
Anyhoo...I need to go get some things done before I go to bed, and I've also gotta go to bed earlier, since I've gotta catch the bus=P G'nite people!

*yawn*...it's been one looooong day...Don't worry, I was done all my work yesterday (don't ask me how I managed, I'm not quite sure myself=P), so I'll be going to bed soon.
Anyhoo...I didn't get to go to church today since the Guelph Fall Preview Day was today. Sooo much walking...but their campus is really nice and it was such a nice day out=)
And since I didn't get to go to church today, I had gone to Rexdale Alliance last nite=) It was pretty nice going to another church and yeah...they have a pretty big staff and a lot of different services geared towards different groups (i.e. English-speaking, Chinese-speaking, Indonesians, Cambodians, etc.) It was also kinda cool, cuz the age groups varied more and everyone was able to worship openly=)
Anyways, I should go to bed=P I'm really tired. But yeah...in case I don't get to update this tomorrow, I just wanted to wish Sarah a sweet 16th birthday=)

Haha...I forgot that I had turned off the notification option for my guestbook...so it wasn't until David told me today that he had posted something in it that I checked it today=P

Anyhoo, the quote today comes from today's English class. We're learning about Greek theatre and tragedies and we also talked about the book of Job today=) But yeah...apparently theatricals in England got its start in the church, when people tried to communicate the story of Christ's resurrection through drama (since most people back then were illiterate)...so, a person approaches the the women while they're at Jesus' tomb and they ask him, "Quem quaeritis?" or "Whom do you seek?" and then he says, "Jesus of Nazareth," and they respond by saying, "He has resurrected!"
I thought was kinda neat=) So I thought I'd share that with the rest of you=) Also...I'm starting to run low on quotes...or well, I haven't found too many inspiring quotes or phrases lately...so, I'll have to keep my eyes open for some new ones=P

Heyo! Just wanted to do a quick blog! (I've got an algeo test tomorrow and a calc test on Wednesday...so I should be studying and doing practice questions, etc.)
As some of you already read in an earlier blog or two, I was planning to do a li'l fundraising for World Vision through their 2004 Christmas Catalogue=) Well, guess what!?! I got the catalogue in the mail today=) It happens to be a "Group Giving Package," so I've got some extra order forms...in case any of your parents want to contribute, but want a tax receipt or something in their name (instead of just pooling in under a random name)=P
So, yeah! If you're interested, send me a quick e-mail, give me a quick call, or come talk to me in person=) I'm sooo excited!!!
