i) Foundation: 1943 Graduates was an influence group known for their work on the food scarcity experienced at Mülkiye in the 2nd world war. They were able to persuade the principal to increase student food share. After graduation they experienced problems and come together to handle them. These 18 graduates decided to establish a society. 1500 graduates were contacted and a survey was hold among them to identify the name and regulations of the society. The survey got 90% of the results back and the name was decided to be "Mülkiyeliler Dernegi" with unanimous vote.
In 04.12.1946, while the celebration for Mülkiye`s foundation were held. It is announced that the first general assembly was to be held in "Halkevi". There were 2 points to be discussed:
· Charter was formed
· Temporary Board of Directors was chosen for a year. The society was officially founded in 24.12.1946.

ii) Location and structure: Its center is located in Ankara with a legal personality. Alumni Society of the Faculty of Political Sciences does not participate in political arena and it can establish new branches in Turkey with Board of Directors' decisions.

iv) Mission, vision, objectives, performance criteria, user satisfaction and overall strategy:

Mission: Considering the alumni of the Faculty of Political Sciences as a whole and conducting studies in order to maintain & improve the solidarity among the members; while guiding the Turkish community about the political & social subjects.

Vision: Uniting all of the graduates under Alumni Society of the Faculty of Political Sciences to increase its influence in the community.

Objectives:
· Providing scholarship and dormitories for successful and low-income students.
· Issuing, organizing conferences and seminars, holding inquiries and competitions in order to criticize and analyze the economical and social facts of Turkey.
· Supporting sports activities of undergraduate students.
· Establishing aid and death funds.
· Arranging and expending the facilities by constructing libraries, conference halls and dormitories.
· Conducting research about the business problems of members and outsiders.

Performance criteria:
· Percentage of graduates that are members of AS
· Member satisfaction (monitored through infrequent questionnaires held)
· Attendance of the community to the public activities (seminars, conferences, etc.)
· Multitude & magnitude of the scholarship, aid and death funds provided to the stakeholders.
· Number of branches established

User satisfaction: Our interviews with some of the members revealed that the most outstanding point in their satisfaction about the AS is that it provides opportunity and a nice environment for the alumni to come together and share time. That is, keeping the old bonds intact and alive.

We can classify the things that are maintaining the user satisfaction in three:
· The Mülkiyeliler Birligi Magazine: This magazine is said to be improving day by day and it has a big effect on members. This facility provides insight about the thoughts of the members and a connection is established in terms of the ideas.
· Facilities: Facilities such as the restaurant at Karanfil Street, the library, etc are very important in terms of user satisfaction. For example, by the restaurant at Kizilay, the graduates can meet each other and talk and this is very important since communication is vital.
· Activities:  yearly night-meetings, seminars, conferences are the most frequent activities and by these activities, user satisfaction is maintained.

Strategy: The strategy can be said to be stability strategy. Alumni Society of the Faculty of Political Sciences is a nonprofit organization that tries to maintain its position in long term and not aiming big significant changes in its overall objectives. This is a typical stability strategy.
