The Admiralty's uniform has seen many variations over Starfleet's existance, but with the onset of war even the Admiralty has conformed to a more miltaristic dress code.
As such all Admirals now wear a similar uniform as to that of line officers, however, there is a golden rim around the neck and down the front. Admirals now also wear a distinctive belt buckle, normally either bearing the Federation or Starfleet seals.
The Admirals uniform is the only version of the new black body suit that bears rank insignia on the cuffs across a wide departmental colour band (as well as both sides of the neck). Admirals can maintain their departmental loyalties although red does normally emphisise the command nature of the Admiralty.
The Admiral's dress uniform is consistant with a Captain's uniform, the only difference being that the cuffs bare two red bands and the appropriate rank insignia, as well as rank pips on either side of the neck.
