![]() Name: Gantetsu (Japanese), Kurt (American) Voice Actors: Unknown Name Meaning: Unknown Age: Middle-aged Known Relatives: Chie (Maisy)-granddaughter Hometown: Hiwada Town (Azaela Town) Aspirations: To protect the Yadon in Hiwada Town and to figure out the mysteries of the GS Ball Video Game Appearances: Pokemon Gold (Game Boy Color), Pokemon Silver (Game Boy Color), Pokemon Crystal (Game Boy Color) Manga appearances: None First episode: Episode 142, "Hiwada Town! Yadon's Well!!" ("A Shadow of a Drought") Defining episodes: "Hiwada Town! Yadon's Well!!" ("A Shadow of a Drought"), "Kunugidama and the Bonguri no mi! Ura Mountain's Battle!!" ("Goin Apricorn") Information: Gantetsu lives in Hiwada Town, a town that worships the Yadon. Gantetsu is first seen going down to the Yadon's Well because he was worried about a noise he heard and went down to investigate. That noise turned out to be the Rocket-Dan, and when Gantetsu was unable to battle, Satoshi-tachi stepped in to lend a hand. It was only after the battle that the trio found out who the old man was. Gantetsu is the Jouto region's Monster Ball expert. Using special Bonguri no Mi (Apricorns), Gantetsu is able to make a wide variety of special Monster Balls, each with its own unique properties. Since he is the Monster Ball expert, Ookido-Hakase had Satoshi-tachi give him the GS Ball to examine to see if he can uncover something that neither Ookido-Hakase nor Uchikido-Hakase could. Gantetsu is currently in Hiwada Town, studying the GS Ball. Links to Fan Pages: There don't seem to be any pages dedicated to Gantetsu at the moment. Pocket Monsters was not created by me. It was created by Satoshi Tajiri and the crew at TV-Tokyo. Pokemon is (c) Game Freak, Nintendo, 4Kids Productions, Hasbro, Bandai, and a ton of other companies. When you have a popular anime like Pokemon, lots of people own it so it's impossible to list every company who owns a piece of Pokemon. No infringement of copyrights is meant by the creation of the web site. All images were gotten from official websites (Nintendo, TV-Tokyo, etc.) unless otherwise noted (I don't steal images from other sites!). |
