The Bullah Family were Quakers (or members of the Society of Friends)

Richard Bullah, born about 1695 probably in Mullehead, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland,
married Rachel Morton (born 5 June 1703) of Moyallen, Northern Ireland. They had a
son Joseph born about 1720 who married Margaret Morton around the year 1747. Up
to the time of her marriage she had not been a Quaker, but may have become one on her
marriage to her husband.

Of their eight children, their eldest daughter Sarah (1749-1830) married George
Thompson (himself not a Quaker) of Dublin, Ireland in about 1774. They had a son
Henry, whose son George Thompson married Isabel Haydock (see Sinton).
