Before you read any further, try and make sense out of this recipe. First, blend in notable members of the casts of Escaflowne, Tenchi, and Gundam Wing. Base the story (VERY) roughly on the Pretty Sammy framework, except starring Relena instead of Sasami. Give her the ability to utter the words, “Super Pretty Magic Beautiful Gundam Power Activate” and transform into a man-sized, color-coordinated version of Wing Zero. Well, as long as your definition of color-coordinated means really, really pink. Next, cast Hitomi as the evil rival, who can transform into Epyon with the words “Super Destruction Magic Evil Gundam Power Activate!” Last, toss in a liberal dose of shoujo, taken right from the annals of the king (or queen, I guess) of shoujo, Sailor Moon. What do you get?
Well, your first reaction would probably be "a steaming pile of crap." And you’d probably be right. However, I would call it Gundam MS, or in long form, Magical Schoolgirl Gundam. Of course, it’ll probably end up being both. But who knows? Maybe I’ll manage to make it into something vaguely funny. Or at least mildly entertaining, in a sort of train-wreck way. You’ll never know if you don’t read, right?
