| Kilowog was one of the gentlest of all the Green Lantern
Corps, in spite of his hulking frame and fierce look. He lived on a planet where everyone
was considered part of a greater whole. When the Crisis occurred, his planet was destroyed
and he was shattered. He went with many of the other Green Lanterns to Earth to be with
friends. While on Earth, he inadvertantly created the Soviet Union's Red Rocket Brigade,
as he found communism somewhat appealing. Seeing how he was duped, though, he left that
behind and became a handyman for Justice League Europe. When the Green Lantern Corps was
restored, he took up his mantle of teacher again and returned. He was killed trying to
stop Hal Jordan, his former friend, from getting to the main
power battery on Oa. Kyle
Rayner and Ganthet later brought him back to
life. |
