![]() Vinnie was a know show at a group session we had two weeks ago. Had only met Vinnie one time before last summer. He drives up from a small town south of here. He works on the railroad. Odd shifts sometimes I think. And he's a young guy, probably would rather be beating some butts more his own age. ![]() But I had nagged him enough, so he did show up Wednesday afternoon. Basically good kid who likes giving and taking. Though he admits he likes giving the more he's taking. We always use cards and dice to determine who's getting what with what. And this time the cards were not in my favor. Vinnie is cool about varying the intensity of those swats, so he doesn't totally murder the old man. ![]() I always lay out the implements so that the ones that can do the most damage are at the extreme ends of the line and are least apt to be drawn. But Vinnie thought it would be cool if we shuffle them around after each draw. Afterward he was sorry, because he ended up having to feel more than his share of the big old frat paddle. And I wasn't holding back too much after he'd been pounding on my ass good for a good part of our time together. I'd say after an hour and a half or so we both ended up with more than rosy butts. Two days later and the sting is still there. Good show, Vinnie.
