Interview with Alrcari February 13, 2001
By: Mystery
Alrcari, manager of Cultural Evolution and World Changes (wow, now that's a title), stopped by Adellion Stratics the other day for an interview. Here's a sample of what went down:

Kvarno: How do you envision Adellion to change over the years? Would go as far as cultures ceasing to exist? Adopt the ways of other cultures be annihilated etc.
As a humble sage, I would venture to say that much of Adellion initially will go through many changes. We will have to wait and see what the changes are. I cannot predict the future as soothsaying is not my forte.

Kvarno: Might capitals change, cities be destroyed or change ownership and ethnic association?
Cultures who have had their main cities destroyed could opt to choose another city and "move" the capital to that location. Just because Adokon is Rahkzan's capital doesn't mean that Rahkzan can't "move" his government to a new location while attempting to route the invader. Cities will come and go over time. Leaders will rise and fall. Empires will grow and collapse. In some areas of the world, the politics of the world will mean nothing. This is the way of Adellion. Adellion will be what you make of it.

Check out the main page of AD Stratics ASAP before the interview gets buried.

Interview with Paul Hutson January 29, 2001
By: Mystery
The webmaster of Adellion Stratics has posted an interview with Paul Hutson, Project Manager. Here's a sample:

Kvarno> Music, how will it be heard, can bards play it?
Paul_Hutson> Yes they can, we have decided to not put background music behind the game - there will be SFX this will allow for bards to play on places etc.
Paul_Hutson> And be appriciated
Kvarno> Ahh wonderful
Kvarno> Can they compose their own music even?
Paul_Hutson> We will allow them to play MP3's Wavs and Midis from other locations, so yes. - But this will probably be after the betas.
Kvarno> Couldn't that interefere with lag?
Paul_Hutson> It could - we have not fully developed those ideas yet.
