By: Mystery
Unfortunately, the new site C3K World didn't bother to ask Tom Scott "Hey, man, are you serious?". Instead, they Interviewed him about the MOD feature of the alpha test on C3k.

Oof, new Screens February 16, 2001

Stunning us in its ability to completely ignore the subject matter in question, GameSpyDaily has stooped to feature the freakishly bad Screenshots from C3K.

Create your own world, Maybe Hire a Graphic Designer! February 16, 2001
By: Mystery
C3k announced yesterday that they would allow folks to host their own MODs of the Alpha build of the C3k product. In reward to creating and managing your own world (including creating your own graphics, models, and textures that don't suck wind so badly even I can make fun of them), you get free access to the C3k world! Woo!

GameSpyDaily was nice enough to host the Press Release for this wonder of wonders.

Thomas Scott Interview February 15, 2001
By: Mystery
GameSpy Daily sat down with Thomas Scott of Magique productions yesterday to talk about their upcomgin title Caeron 3000. Here's a sample of what was said:

GSD: What features are you most excited about?

Thomas: One of the most exciting features is our RGP (Real-Time Global Persistence). I am very interested in seeing how the game universe evolves over time based on what the characters do. Not just the PCs, but the NPCs as well. Although we will be creating the NPCs and setting up their initial parameters, they will act on their own and have just as much an impact on how the world changes as the players will.

The second most exciting feature is our Life-Link AI. Imagine a world that is populated by NPCs that act and react in an intelligent manner. NPCs that have real lives and agendas. You'll be able to hire them or be hired by them. They'll have memories of events that happen around them and you'll be able to talk to them and ask them questions. And each one will behave based on hundreds to thousands of parameters that will truly shape their personalities. When C3K goes gold, it will be an eerie experience walking around inside the game. You won't want to blink for fear of missing a single moment of what unfolds before you.

You can read the rest of the interview here.

Yet More Odd Screenshots February 02, 2001
By: Mystery
Can anyone with an ounce of artistic talent, please, help out the folks over at Magique Productions?

RPG Planet just posted 7 screenshots (many of which we've seen already). You can see them here, but don't say I didn't warn you.

New Screenshots February 01, 2001
By: Mystery
Magique has released a compilation Screenshot of different views of the Hoverpad used within the game. Once again, I'm given the impression that this game is being developed by a 13 year old with a penchant for heavy-metal hair.

If you're interested in what the bare minimum of artistry is required to make an MM title that garnishes some interest, take a look at the latest screenshot from Magique Productions (the developers of the game).
