Piracy!| 10.30.03 This has got to be one of the funniest subject's i've come accross since the articles about atari sueing nitendo. Trust me, that was pretty dumb. So here we are, a whole bunch of singer people and stuff are suing because of what? People are burning their popular CD's, people are downloading it and want to hear more of it? Alright let's think about this for a moment, how much does a pop star make on average a year? Oh i dunno, somewhere between a million to 10 million dollars. Uh huh, let's sue these kids that has no money at all because they're pirating our CD's. Why are they pirating this on the first place? Oh i dunno, maybe because they don't have money. How do they think that by suing their fans they can get more popular. Like this?: "Hah, you're burning my CD's, i shall sue you though you have no money. I know you really like listening to my music, however I the rich and famous pop star whom you adore, will now try to take possession of what little money you have. Muhahahaha, you wretched pirate." Uh huh, yeah that's really gonna work. Now lets contemplate on how the heck are they gonna sue every single one of those people that download music and burn CD's. Common, i burn cd's for my friends, and so do they, and so does every one else. Why else would we have cd burners and that every computer now comes with cd burners? Are we just gonna stare at that big hunk of a metal thing that costed around 100 dollars? Why were cd burners released to the public then? Why do they have the function of "cd to cd copy?." Psh, i guess some innovator thought that people would just buy them to go "ooh ahhh." at it. Also, have you ever noticed that you can't burn gaming cd's anymore. HINT HINT POP STAR PEOPLE! Maybe you should just but a cd lock on the cd's and people won't burn them. Oh but that's just too hard right? YOu have to take everyone to court because you can show off you're body while you try to sing your case before a jury of cd burning people. uh huh, yeah that's gonna work.
