autolisp/index.html Index of Autolisp folder (from MDT Tips and Tricks Nifty Routines 50).
bendtextcylinder/bendtextcylinder.html A local file on how to put embossed text on a plate and bend it all around to form a cylinder. Note use of bend command to form a complete circle. Done in MDT5 (so requires MDT5 or MDT6). Note all other work on this page can be in MDT4.
bluecolor/bluecolor.html A local file of a faq on how to change the blue color that is hard to see on black background screens. Bottom line it is the Grips cold color (GRIPCOLOR).
Some cylinder workfeature files:-
1. cylworkfeat/wkplncylaxis.html Workplane On Cylinder Axis
2. cylworkfeat/wkplntancyl.html Workplane Tangent To Cylinder
3. cylworkfeat/wkplangletancyl.html Workplane At Angle Tangent To Cylinder
4. cylworkfeat/tangentwkpt.html Workpoint Tangent On Cylinder
embossedtext/embossedtext A local file of a tip on how to produce embossed text in MDT4 (and presumably A2000 through to A2004). Embossed text is avaliable in MDT5,6,2004. I edit->copied Swis 721 unfilled text with Word 2000 and brought into MDT4 with editPaste Special (as Autocad object) and was left with text I still would have had to explode rather than the polylines Drew said he obtained using Word 97. Also I did not have the font he used in his demo. Still got to think about this because I would like to be able to have embossed text in Autocad even though I know it's in MDT5,6.
holecircle/holecircle.html Hole Placed On PCD. Two methods to reference a hole from a circle center:- 1) Using rectangular (trignometic) co-ords and 2) A polar method using a construction line and circle.
linefacesplits/linefacesplits A local file of a tip on how to use the Line Splits and Face Split commands. ***The really big reminder her is to do a Enter immediately after issuing the final AMPROFILE then pick out the projected outline you intend to extrude and Enter.***
(linefacesplits/linefacesplits_mod.html MDT Line Splits and Face Splits Modified. A result of me not being able to make the above tip work because of the extra Enter needed during the final AMPROFILE. A confused ramble for my reference only.)
(linefacesplits/linefacesplits.dwg My actual MDT4 drawing which is here as part of my just learning how to (externally?) reference/amcopyin .dwg files via the internet. Details back in the MDT Tips and Memory Joggers page summing what I've learned so far. Again mainly for my reference.)
mirrorpart/mirrorpart.html A local file of a tip on how to make a mirrored part follow it's source part which is not a feature of mdt but can be done. Demonstrated in MDT4. Relates to mirroring subassemblies.
paramarray/paramarray.html A local file of a tip on how parametrically array which is not a feature of mdt but can be done. Demonstrated in MDT4.
sweep3dpoly/sweep3dpoly.html A local file of a faq on how to use a 3dpoly line to make a sweep feature. You don't use a polyline for a 3D sweep path. Furthur you don't make curved bends. In MDT you put the details in a table. Demonstrated in MDT4.
