To all to whome these presents shall Come I anne Bradshaw widow of Benjamin Bradshaw late of the County of Goochland deceased send Greeting whereas by Articles made by the said Benjamin Bradshaw before his marriage with me bearing date the nineteenth day of April one thousand Seven hundred and fifty three a negroe woman named Judy was among Other things settled and conveyed to me the Subscriber to be at my disposal in Case I had Ifsue by the said Benjamin which Marriage taken effect the said Benjamin had ifsue by the said Anne two sons named Benjamin & William and then made his will wherin among other things he desired to his said son Wm. agroe boy named Jemmey born of the aforesaid negro Judy after the daye of the Marriage Settlement aforesaid and After the date of the said Will the said Anne had two Children by the said Benjamin Named Edward & Mary Curd Bradshaw for whom the said Benjamin hath made no Provision in his said Will.  Now Know ye that I the Anne Bradshaw for and in Consideration of the Love and affection that I bear to my Children William Edward & Mary Curd Bradshaw & for Securing some provision for them have given Granted & Confirmed and by these Present do give grant and Confirm unto my said three children three negroe Slaves the said boy Jemmey & two Other children of the said Judy born since named Ned & Valentine that is to say the said Jammey to my said son William to hold to him and his heirs forever, the said Negroe Ned to my said son Edward to hold to him and his heirs forever and the said Negroe Valentine to my said Daughter Mary Curd to hold to her during her natural life and After her decease to her oldest son if She shall leave one, forever, and if She shall leave no son then to her Eldest Daughter if she shall leave one forever but if she leaves no child living at the time of her Death, then I give and grant the sd. Slave Valentine unto my said son Edward & his heirs forever and if my said son Edward Shall died before he Arrives to the Age of twenty one years or marries then I give and grand the sd. Slave Ned to my said Daughter Mary Curd & her heirs forever  In witnefs whereof I have set my hand & seal this fifteenth Day of September One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty one.

         At a Court held for Goochland County September the 15th.1761.  Anne Bradshaw acknowledged this Deed Poll to be her Act and Deed which was ordered to be Recorded.
