This Indenture made this thirteenth day of April one thousand seven hundred eighty seven between Claibourne Bradshaw and Elizabeth Bradshaw his Wife of the county of Goochland of the one part and Learner Bradshaw of the same County of the other part Witnefseth that the said Claibourne Bradshaw and Elizabeth his Wife for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds current money of Virginia to them in hand paid by the said Learner Bradshaw the Receipt Whereof they do hereby acknowledge have Granted Bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain & Sell unto the said Learner Bradshaw his Heirs and afsigns for ever one Certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Goochland Containing by estimation seventy nine acres be the same more or lefs bounded by Lickinghole Creek Judith Carter Edward Cox Joseph Leake and Robert Pleasants be the same more or lefs To have and to hold the said tract of Land with the appurtenances unto the said Learner Bradshaw his heirs & afsigns for ever and the sd. Claibourne Bradshaw and Elizabeth his Wife for themselves their heirs Executors & administrators the said tract of land with the appurtenances unto the said Learner Bradshaw his heir & afsigns for ever against all persons shall & will warrant and for ever defend by these presents In Witnefs whereof the said Claibourne Bradshaw & Elizabeth Bradshaw his wife have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year above Written

Memorandum that Quiet & peaceable pofsefsion and livery of Seizen of the within said land and premises was had by the within named Claibourne Bradshaw and Elizabeth his Wife and was in their own proper persons delivered unto the said Learner Bradshaw according to the form an effect of the within Written deed and in due form of law

This deed of Indenture & bargain of Sale from Claib. Bradshaw & Elisabeth his Wife to Learner Bradshaw was Presented in court and acknowledged in open Court by the sd. Claibourne & wife to be their acts & Deed the wife being first Privily examined & Relinquishing her right of Dower therin which was ordered to be Recorded
