This Indenture made this Sixteenth day of Sep.r One thousand seven hundred fifty six Between William Bracher of Goochland County in Virginia of One part and Turner Clarke of the s.d Co.ty of the other part Witneseth that the s.d William Bracher for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Shillings Curr.t Money to the s.d William Bracher in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and him self satisfied conted xx and paid Hath given granted Bargained and sold aliened Enfcoffed and confirmed and by these presents do Give grant bargain Sell alien Enfcoff and Confirm unto the said Turner Clarke his heirs and Afsigns forever One tract or parcel of Land lying in the County aforesaid containing Fifty Acres more or lefs to the said Wm Bracher by his father     To have and hold the said tract or parcel of Land and primises with all Houses fences Gardens and all other Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining unto the said Turner Clark his heirs and Afsigns forever to the only proper ufe and behoof of him the s.d Turner Clarke his heirs and Afsigns forever and to and for no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever and the said William Bracher for himself his heirs and Afsigns and that he will warrant and Defend the afs.d Land and premises with the appurtenances unto the said Turner Clarke his heirs & Afsigns forever against himself and his heirs and against any other person or persons whatsoever  In Witnes whereof I the said William Bracher have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Day and Year above Written.

Memorandum that on the Sixteenth day of Sep.r One thousand seven hundred fifty six Quiet and Peacable Pofsefsion and Seizen of the Land and Premises within Mentioned was Given and made by the within named William Bracher unto the said Turner Clarke according to the form and Efect of the within Written Deed.

At a court for Goochland County September the 21st.1756.
William Bracker acknowledged this Deed with the Livery of Seizin & receipt Endorsed to be his Acts and which were Ordered to be Recorded.   Then Mary Wife of the said William / She being first Privately examined / Relinquished her right of Dower in the Land by this Deed convey'd which was also admitted to Record.
